23-year-old Aristo Sham, born in Hong Kong and educated at London’s Harrow School, currently attends Harvard and the New England Conservatory. In 2018 he won First Prize in the first Charles Wadsworth International Piano Competition in Newnan, GA, and First Prize in YCA’s International Auditions, where he was awarded the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize of YCA. He has appeared with the Minnesota Orchestra, l’Orchestre de Chambre of Lausanne, and the English Chamber Orchestra. Coming up, Rachmaninoff’s Concerto No. 3 with the London Symphony under Sir Simon Rattle in Hong Kong.
